Deep-Seated Gravitational Slope Deformations in Molise region (Italy): novel inventory and main geomorphological features

This paper focuses on Deep-Seated Gravitational Slope Deformations (DSGSDs) identified in the Molise region (Italy), along central-southern sector of Apennines chain. These phenomena were detected and mapped through a combination aerial-photo interpretation, morphological analyses, field surveys, integrated satellite SAR interferometry (InSAR). The obtained general map is organized different sections: inventory with identification DSGSDs main geological orographic features, geostructural scheme, representative cross sections, list characteristics DSGSDs, geomorphometric maps, landslides map, seismotectonic setting. study allowed us to realize complete define each phenomenon. Through this research, it was possible establish correlation between analyzed deformations geomorphological setting as well its geodynamic context.
